I've had the pleasure of hiring Josh twice, for two very different but equally challenging roles. In both instances, I found Josh to be one of the most dedicated, passionate, and hungry creatives I have worked with. His skills as an AD/Designer and thinking are far beyond his years of experience. He is a student of design and he brings that discipline to every project, whether it's developing a brand's look and feel or designing a deck, his work is thought through from every angle, deeply conceptual, and looks effortless.
While his skills and talent are undeniable and obvious when you look at his work, it's Josh's approach and attitude that set him apart. Eager to learn, grow, and be pushed, Josh seeks out feedback and more often than not is his own harshest critic. His drive and desire to be the best he can be are what push him to keep looking for the right visual reference, to try a couple more type treatments when something just doesn't feel right, and to willing go back to the well and start over when things unexpectedly shift.
